Welcome to YBF Usama!

Meet Usama - YBF's New Membership & Community Engagement Manager!

We’re delighted to welcome Usama Kayak to our team!

Usama brings experience across youth and community work, humanitarian and development projects, governance, security and protection and the creative arts - both across the UK, and internationally.

Fun fact: Usama studied Drama, Applied Theatre & Education at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where he used theatre and creative arts in educational and community projects as a practical tool for confidence, connection and social change.

At YBF, his focus will be practical sector support - strengthening member capacity, offering guidance on small-grant processes, and connecting people, so that every organisation in our network feels supported, informed and better equipped to make a positive impact for young people.

Join us in welcoming Usama, we’re excited to have him with us!
